LED lights are the wave of the future. These eco-friendly lights are becoming more popular and more widely used in house, street, and automotive lighting. They are also on the rise for use in all other kinds of devices such as holiday lights and flashlights. They may be relatively new to the mainstream consumer, but in little time LED lights will be all too common.

One of the reasons LED lights are gaining popularity is due to the little energy they take to operate. They can last a very long time as LED light bulbs average anywhere from 25,000 to 50,000 hours. Incandescent light bulbs, on the other hand, only last around 1,000 to 2,000 hours.

LED bulbs are pricier than incandescent bulbs, but you get what you pay for. Think about it. You could replace light bulbs in your home every few months or every few years. They can also lead to a decrease in your electric bill.
