What is absolutely brilliant about this device is that it is IP58 certified (protecting the camera from snow, rain, dust or sand), it is waterproof up to a depth of 5 meters and features an Exmor R CMOS sensor, which allows the user to capture 20.4 MP of still images.
And the wonders don’t stop here. You also get a built-in GPS for Geo-tagging, a 3-inch Xtra Fine LCD display,or many interesting options like the Optical Steady Shot which assures stable results, the Intelligent Sweep Panorama (you can capture extra-wide scenes with a huge field of view), Self Portrait Timer, Face Detection, and Intelligent AUTO that recognizes up to 99 scene types.
This time Europe will be the lucky one, probably around May 2012, but without any information regarding the price.
