CES 2010: Dell introduces tablet Android Streak

Once Dell has surprised all of us in 2009 entering on the smartphone market with an Android model, here the well-known manufacturer of PCs entered on the tablet market with Streak model. It was just a rumor in October last year, but there it is a real terminal shown at CES 2010:

It’s inappropriate to say that we are dealing with a tablet, but rather with a MID, since the product presented in Las Vegas is a MID with 5-inch touch display. The gadget is a prototype, which the producer calls “Dell Tablet Concept”. We find that Streak running Android OS comes with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 3G connectivity and support services, AT & T.

This operator works closely with Dell lately, planning to launch mobile. Unfortunately, major tech sites like Engadget and Pocket-lint have been allowed to seize the terminal for a few seconds, but the conclusion is that the Streak is a thin tablet and very promising. Full specifications list is not yet known.
