Without any intention of sounding discriminatory, Disney has come up with a new gadget that will simply delight them. No, I am not talking about kids, but about women. To all the ladies out there,  Disney has released the DM012SH (a Waterproof and Dustproof Smartphone). With a Japanese target audience in mind, the product includes a one-seg mobile wallet and unique themes, wallpapers or ringtones inspired by Mickey Mouse.

Don’t believe that only because it comes in colors like white and pink, this gadget has nothing else to offer. It also features a  8MP camera with autofocus and flash, a 4.0-inch touchscreen display and an Android 2.3 Gingerbread system.

Apparently it was designed waterproof and dustproof because they know how clumsy women can be. Haha! Another thing that you should know is that this wonder is expected to be released in February but only in Japan.

Bummer!

Every time we turn on the television or surf the Internet, commercials and banner ads tell us that size is everything. When it comes to purchasing a tablet, the old stereotype perpetuated by the executives at Apple is that bigger is better.
With a slew of new tablets contending for Apple’s number one spot in the market, the mythology of more screen space and a wider physical design is hard to argue with. Why wouldn’t you want a tablet that blatantly allows you to view content like movies, eBooks, and games on a larger screen? There are three factors to consider when purchasing an iPad contender: size, price, and versatility.

Samsung Galaxy S 4G

Size
Apple unleashed a giant swarm of impersonator tablets after the iPad release. The original intention for the iPad was for users to generate content and use it like an actual computer. Due to the limitations of the tablet device, competitors like the Android based Samsung Galaxy and Amazon Kindle had the idea to make the device smaller so it would be easy to use when waiting in lines or partaking on other tedious tasks.

Price
Because Apple is the tech giant that it is, supply and demand for their products is understandable. People line up in droves to purchase the latest release and the trend will not stop soon if they keep hauling out cutting edge designs. Because they can, they charge upwards of $800 for the latest releases. The competition is trying to gain their right place in the minds of consumers so they charge less for their devices.

Versatility
The newly released Kindle Fire will have a cloud network in order to use and distribute digital media. This is will allow people who purchase to view an endless amount of media more easily because of the elimination of downloading and gigabyte storage. The Samsung Galaxy device uses Adobe Flash instead of the iPad’s reliance on HTML5. This will let people view all websites as meant to be seen, watch YouTube, and play games.

Of course, with Apple being the go-to name in the tech and marketing businesses; the next generation of iPads will have a smaller width and be easier to travel with. But because they missed the smaller tablet trend at first, will users want to go back to Apple’s iOS when they have the experience that Android gives them? Tech blogger Kevin Tofel says that he would drop his current tablet in order to go back to iPad.
Apple may be the most reliable and consistent company to purchase for technical advances, but the large size, price, and low versatility are issues to be concerned with.

Samsung Galaxy Ace and Samsung Galaxy S

The Galaxy S II has become one of Samsung’s great success stories. Widely regarded to be the best smartphone currently on the market, its sales will soon overtake those of the iPhone 4. Because of its huge success, there are currently some great deals available on its precursor, the Samsung Galaxy S, which has many of the great features associated with the newer model. But is it worth shelling out on what used to be Samsung’s top of the line model when their brand new budget handset, the Samsung Galaxy Ace, has betting getting such a positive reception and is a fraction of the cost?

• Display
The new Samsung Galaxy Ace boast a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen; very impressive for a budget handset. It is made from Samsung’s strengthened Gorilla glass which helps prevent scratches and cracks. It supports multi-touch input, has an accelerometer and comes pre-loaded with the TouchWiz 3.0 user interface.

The Samsung Galaxy S has a 4-inch AMOLED display, along with Gorilla glass, an accelerometer, multi-touch support and the TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

• Camera
For a budget handset, the Samsung Galaxy Ace’s camera has excellent specifications. It has a 5-megapixel sensor, auto focus, LED flash, supports video calling and captures QVGA video.

Although the Samsung Galaxy S has an extremely similar camera to the Ace, it is able to capture 720p video, but it doesn’t have an LED flash.

• Operating System
Out of the box, the Galaxy S runs Android 2.1 and the Galaxy Ace runs Android 2.2. However, both handsets can be upgraded to the latest version of Android, 2.3 Gingerbread. Gingerbread has many improvements over previous versions of Android, offering a noticeably smoother experience, an improved touch keyboard and faster multitasking. It also improves system performance, which could increase the battery life of both devices.

Any fashion fan would agree that this is a definitely “must have”. It can be carried on your shoulder due to the amazing chain strap or put in a bigger bag. This case will definitely create an impact and what is more important your phone will “feel” in Heaven.  

The only downside to having this piece of art is its price: $710. But if you truly love Dolce&Gabbana and want to parade in front of your friends, making them jealous, this is clearly the way to go.

According to the latest press release, Nokia has returned with one of the brightest models of phones, ever.  Nokia 701 has been declared the brightest phone due to a 3.5″ IPS LCD display that combines with ClearBlack technology. So despite its divine light, you won’t have any problem with the contrast.

In addition to this, “almost double O 7″  has an 8 megapixel camera, a dual-LED flash on its back and  a 32GB microSD memory card. And don’t worry, because it also has a strong battery that will last for up to 17 hours of talk time.

It is available in an entire spectrum of colors (silver,amethyst violet, white etc.) and you can buy it for the price of $290.
