Editors from Phonescoop at CES 2010 have found a handset running Windows Mobile version 6.5.3, still unreleased. Here is the phone in action in the clip below, if you’re curious how it will look to update your WM 6.5:

It seems that the new OS running on a Toshiba TG01 smartphone, one of the first smartphones that have received updates from WM 6.1 to 6.5, few months ago. Clip above review all the functions of version 6.5.3, the new interface very user-friendly touch, until the virtual keyboard that comes with enhancements, or multimedia functions of the handset.

Once Dell has surprised all of us in 2009 entering on the smartphone market with an Android model, here the well-known manufacturer of PCs entered on the tablet market with Streak model. It was just a rumor in October last year, but there it is a real terminal shown at CES 2010:

If you’re impressed by smartphones with 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, you should know that this barrier will be overcome, as the chip maker told, Qualcomm. Luis Pineda, vice president of Qualcomm, on product management section, said at CES 2010, that we will see new versions of Snapdragon on market this year, some even with a speed of 1.5 GHz.

This month, the company plans to launch a 45nm version of Snapdragon processor, 8X50A, with a frequency of 1.3 GHz. The first terminal based on the solution will be on the market until the end of the year. Also, by the end of 2010, Qualcomm plans to offer manufacturers of mobile terminals a dual-core version Snapdragon, 8X72.

This new processor will include one “core” scores, with frequency of 1.5 GHz. Qualcomm official says that this technology can be used both on smartphones and on smartbook sites, allowing them to support 1080p resolution. Now it’s Palm turn to present their products at CES 2010, with its new terminals, new operators to collaborate or software. American producer officially announced two new models: Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus.

Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus

Palm event was organized in collaboration with Verizon Wireless and need to know that both Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are running WebOS, with some improvements. Palm Pre Plus comes with a simplified design, 16 GB internal memory and a part of the back of the case type Touchstone (probably compatible with Wireless loading dock of the same name).

Palm Pixi Plus comes with WiFi in addition to the previous version and the terminal is incredibly thin and light. The phone can be changed differently in Touchstone brand colored carcasses. Both phones will be available in the U.S. by Verizon starting on January 25.

CES 2010 was also the perfect opportunity for Palm to present their new mobile hotspot, a WebOS application that turns your phone Pre Plus or Pixi Plus in a mobile WiFi router. The application provides access to a wireless broadband connection for up to 5 terminals equipped with WiFi. The new Palm phones will arrive in Europe in the second quarter of this year, debuting in France with SFR operator.

Palm also announced a new feature for WebOS platform, that of capturing, editing and sharing the videos. The company plans to implement Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support or browser and it will provide numerous benefits to developers who create applications for WebOS.

CES 2010 – Inbrics presents a MID Android with AMOLED display

Inbrics is present on the CES 2010 show in Las Vegas with his MID 1, an impressive Android terminal, equipped with AMOLED touchscreen display as shown in the picture below.

Terminal screen slides to reveal a QWERTY keyboard and the casing lies an ARM Cortex A8 processor, while the MID’s 1 list of specifications includes WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3G/WiMAX. The internal memory is of 16 GB plus microSD slot provided. In the back of the handset is a 3 megapixel camera, while video callings will be made using front VGA camera.

The product of the Inbrics will function as a media controller, allowing you to link home phones with your PC, DVR and HDTV sites and to view content on them with help. A brief overview of this incredible AMOLED display terminal, WiMAX and VoIP support can be seen in the video below:

While some companies break the barrier of 1 GHz mobile phone processors exceed 4.5-inch diagonal screen, Samsung returns to the public with good news. The company announced today the HTC Smart model, which you can admire below a mass of publicly available telephone.

Sigma Designs presented in Las Vegas at CES 2010 the NeoVue as a perfect competition for Intel. The NeoVue HD video streaming platform supports 1080p video and also the VGA projector standard with the USB dongle, all possible with the Coair wireless chipset. The difference between the phone and MID is shrinking screens diagonals and processing power increase follows the same upward trend. Not only that new smartphones do not fit into your pocket, but they almost completely eliminate the need for a laptop. CES 2010 – Lenovo presents LePhone Android

I already knew that Lenovo is one of Google partners about achieving running Android handsets and here are the first results of this collaboration. It is LePhone smartphone, the picture below, perhaps the original terminal Android so far:

Strengths of this product are: unusual design, interface based on Widgets, created by Lenovo and obviously the OS’s from Google. In what concerns the list of specifications, Lenovo LePhone comes with a display of 3.7-inch WVGA OLED touch after his Nexus One model, but with GPS, a Snapdragon processor, Android 2.0 and dedicated music keys.
