Assassin’s Creed 2 – No Internet, No Game
February 19th, 2010 • Games
Although we do not like, we have to give bad news to those waiting to enter the mantle of Ezio auditor, the main character of Assassin’s Creed 2. The game has a system of “protection” against piracy based on your Internet connection.
More specifically, to run the game in single player mode, you must be permanently connected to Ubisoft servers. Adjournment connection disrupts the game. It is obvious given the opportunity to save the game, but we don’t like that too much.
Ubisoft’s decision has received a wave of criticism from the specialized press. It is true that majority of those who buy games have Internet connection, but it may fall, for various reasons.
It remains to be seen whether or not Ubisoft will yield to pressure from fans on March 16, when the game will be officially launched. Here you can enjoy a trailer and check if the system of equipment meets specified requirements to run Assassin’s Creed 2.
System requirements:
– OS: Windows XP, Vista, 7
– CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz or 2.4 GHz AMD Athlon X2 64
– RAM: 2 GB (1.5 GB for XP)
– Video: a card equipped with 256 MB RAM (GeForce 8800 GT or Radeon HD 4700 recommended)
– HDD: 8 GB
